Frequently asked questions
Will it only ring in my earphones?
Select your earphones as the audio output on your device and play the test sound. The web cannot force an output or guarantee an earphone connection.
Will it ring with the screen off?
Keep your screen and this tab open. The web alarm will not work with the screen off or the tab closed. Screen wake lock also depends on browser support and permission.
What if my earphones disconnect?
Where detection is supported, a change in audio output pauses the timer and stops any alarm until you check again. Detection may be unavailable or delayed, so sound could play through the speaker.
