When to use this tool
Compare bass, midrange and treble impressions after changing earphones or tips. These are individual tones rather than music. Frequencies naturally differ in perceived loudness; do not adjust system volume to make every tone sound equally loud.
How to use and interpret results
Listen to each range for 2 seconds and compare.
Different frequencies can feel louder even at the same volume setting.
Lower device volume. Do not raise it to hear a tone. Stop for pain, ringing or discomfort.
